Therefore, it shares the same place of origin: the Isle of Man. Its name is derived from "Cymru," the Welsh name for Wales, which is located approximately 125 miles south of the Isle of Man. WebThe Cymric cat has a round head and large, round eyes. The body is sturdy and strong, the chest wide, the rump is short and wide, the forelegs are shorter than the hind legs. The hind legs have also strong and long thigh muscles, which makes the cat look like a rabbit. The hair is long, soft, silky smooth.
