However, Primrose benefits from the Sorcerer's kit far more than Cyrus does. Oh, and I'd rather not self-cast Alephan's... So, the fact that Cyrus has it and she doesn't is a perk for Prim in my book. Cyrus can cast it on Prim/sorc for an overall net gain in party DPS.
